I am an independent skin scientist with research interest in skin health and ageing. I run a private clinical practice, FaceWorkshops, and provide skincare recommendations based on my PhD in skin science and over 20 years experience in skin research and the beauty industry. As a member of the International Society for Stratum Corneum Research, the Society of Cosmetic Scientists and BABTAC, I promote the principles of good practice in skincare and sun protection in my talks and workshops. I also write scientific articles for the International Journal of Cosmetic Science, SPC and Cosmetics&Toiletries. My approach to skincare is unique combining the latest in skin research and clinical practice. Meeting real clients on a daily basis allows me to gain an insight into their needs and make a difference to their appearance.

 

I actively pursue the role of an opinion leader in the field of functional skincare bridging the gap between the skincare consumer and the industry.
